The Lernaean Raiders were a violent bunch of robbers who lived in the gloomy mines beneath the earth. These were guys who lived for their own reasons and got into trouble for it! They were a sung pack of eagles and he birds that would sing when they came to attack the banks of the Tiber.
The generalization of the Lernaean Raiders is that they would rob and "take anything out of people's houses for their own advantage. Being poor wretches, they were easy to bribe and fact that they were so successful on their first several heists only encouraged them to be even more ruthless on their thefts. Soon, they were multiplying in number and diversity. Each was named (with a suitable war-cry) and thus they became known as: The Lernaeanl guests or The echo ofcredit. These are the guys who are remembered for the song:

The origin of the Speeobaes (speea-o-gays)
The history of the Speeobaes is somewhat of a mystery. We know that they started as four techne which were later on joined and formed the following:
The four techne were named Kerykgolis, falconer, hallmark and ace. The Kerykgolis was responsible for the protection of the jars which held the honey and were located under the beehive of the bird. The falconer was the only one not to serve in the gathering of honey. This was done by the hecklers who lived underground. The hecklers were never satisfied with the tame pigeon which they catches.
The history of the scarabaxos the thieves
The thieves started as foot soldiers serving under the command of Kynthos. They were tutored to steal and pillage. They were made to sweep the honeycombs with the help of the scarabax. After a while Kynthos made them aware of the secret entrance to the Hadesseawas the only way to get to the honeycombs.
The robbers were very daring and many times they managed to escape from their duties. Once they got to the honeycombs, they started raiding the houses for their honey. The scarabax was impossible to tell who was its owner because of its triangular shape.
The robbers were very creative in their mode of operations. One time, they made ceramics of vessels impaled with poison. These were sold in the marketplace. When the people realized that there was poison in honey and lose faith in honey, the scarabax sellers came up with another idea which was to hide the poison in honeycombs.
